I inherited this HI rod in it's tube marked "Queen Mary" featherlight. Can you tell me what it is? I have only had it out to look at once, but I can provide pics.

"The Queen Mary" H&I rod # 2320 and the "Featherlight" H&I # 2331 were both available during the early 30's until 1941. Both were 3/2 and came in 7 1/2, 8 and 8 1/2 foot lengths. The Mary was advertised as an "ideal rod for the ladies." The Mary was listed at $6.12 and the Featherlight at $9.87 in the 41 catalog. FYI over the years the featherlight came in many different configurations.
The Featherlight is a great caster at 4 and 5 weight I love it.
Pictures would provide you a better idea of value and when it was from.
You got a good one.
