When do you insure and when do you "go naked"?
Which carrier would you use for a $1,000 item?
Say you are shipping a $1,000 rod.
Say you are shipping a $300 reel.
Do you try to recover the insurance cost in your price or is it for your peace of mind?

#3And you will need evidence to prove the value of the rod or reel if it is lost or damaged for the amount you insured it for when you fill out the claim form.
