Did You Have a White Christmas?

We did not have a White Christmas in Albuquerque, NM. But we had a White December 26th! Just enough to cover the ground, and most of it will be gone by this afternoon!

In the U.P., indeed we do. Plenty cold, too.

Funny you should ask. Kidded my old MN cronies about our brown Christmases but today we're paying the price here in OK. Getting clobbered considering our 2" average snowfall or whatever it is. 4" on ground here and we didn't get the worst of it. Other areas up to 8" and ice storms ahead of snowfall has knocked out power in many areas. I'm on western edge of OK and OK City got hit a lot harder and south and east of us. Hundreds of fender benders and multiple car pileups on freeways making body shops happy. Thing is, we will get to look at this for most of tomorrow but Saturday starts a string of 60 degree weather to leave this a memory but red clay dirt roads a mess.

This is the time when the 4x4 have to go mudding and hill climbing and many of them will be seen in so coated with red clay mud you can't tell the original color. The car wash will be a river of red mud for a few days. All in great fun.

Yep. Pretty standard in Missoula.
