Is this the same Jim Brown who wrote books on reels?

Is this the same Jim Brown who wrote books on reels?

Hello All,
I recently sold a couple of reel books by Jim Brown. When sifting through a pile of ephemera that these books were in, I happened across a hand typed "Guide" on Meisselbach Fly Reels, authored by Jim Brown of Stamford, CT. I was wondering if this the same Jim Brown who wrote "A Treasury Of Reels", "Fishing Reel Patents"? I think it's fairly rare if it is by him. It is about 23 pages and includes a history of Meisselbach fly reels accompanied by several pages of the maker's reels, models, dates, etc. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

PS I wasn't sure how to add photos, so there aren't any here. I'd be more than happy to send them to whoever might reply. Thanks again

They're one in the same person. Jim used to live in CT.
