Wulff Bamboo Taper Lines

Post by Doublegun »

Has anyone cast the Wulff bamboo tapers? I’m wondering how they compare to the regular TT lines, specifically what are the differences when casting on a bamboo rod.

Thank you,

JDG

This is the same line as their Long Belly line, just with a different color (tan rather than white).

It’s a WF taper with a much longer belly rather than the triangle shaped taper.

I like them as they are quite true to weight. I like to use them as ‘short DT’ on reels that doesn’t have the capacity to hold a regular DT with backing.

Purchase the Bamboo Special fly line from Royal Wuff online! This triangle taper line lasts longer then and flies farther than most traditional flies.
