PhotoBucket

Post by GRASSNGLASS »

I would like to place some items on classifieds and have never figured how to place photos with items.

I see the PhotoBucket shortcut and would like some info on it.

Is this the recommended way to place photos on site?

Is this a free service or pay for service?

Thanks--Barry

Another option is to use tinypic.com to upload the picture. They will provide a web address for the photo which can then be entered ising the img button.

Photobucket. If it's so great then why do so many complain about it? That actually is a negative comment - I wonder if I'll get away with it. Try Picturetrail. A full featured photo editor comes with and makes it easy to resize pics for posting to a forum.

In so many forums I see people persisting with photobucket despite the problems.

Why not use Flickr?

They give you 1 TB storage for free and are easy to link to. OK you do need a Yahoo account to become a member but that is easy to do too.

They're all easy, but having PB freeze up my new 8GB desktop from the onslaught of pop-ups makes it a PITA. I finally got around to adding Ad Block Plus to Firefox and I could actually add photos to a classified listing yesterday in under ten minutes. Do the Ad Block, folks! If not Firefox, get it free from somewhere like Major Geeks. It sped up my internet browsing remarkably.
