In 2000, I drove from the Seattle area to Grayling and took Wayne's class. Great guy, and taught me and others a lot. RIP Wayne.

At the Southern Rodmakers' Gathering this past weekend, we had a moment of silence and a toast to our friend Wayne. There was also a SRG apron for signing to be forwarded to Wayne's family.
In the early years at the Grayrock gathering, Wayne had available yearly aprons. One of these would be signed by the attendees and then stapled to the ceiling in the clubhouse.
Wonder if they are still there?
