#21A terrible and tragic thing to happen to anyone. This year seems to have been particularly bad for devastating fires around the world. Hopefully the insurance will come through for those affected, but there are some things that money cannot replace...

#22This forum has just over 21,000 members. If everyone donated $1 then the needed $21,000 would be a piece of cake?

#23Glad to see the fund me page. even a computer illiterate like moi can donate using a cc, securely and encripted (which I am told is "good").
Bob always worked with the very simplest of tools and shop, but always turned out absolute gems of rods. Astounding talent, wonderful person.

#24+ 1. ibookje hit the nail on the head regarding everyone giving a dollar. If anyone deserves it it's Bob and his family. Please let's try and give more. This is coming from people that have known Bob for 40 years. We can do this.

#25Bad things always happen around the holidays. Our prayers go out to Mr. Taylor and his family. He certainly is an icon in our sport.

#26That's a great thought, but probably 18,000 of those members are long gone.ibookje wrote:This forum has just over 21,000 members. If everyone donated $1 then the needed $21,000 would be a piece of cake?

#27Thank you for the Go Fund Me option.
My sincere best wishes to Bob and his family for a full and timely recovery from this disaster. I'm very glad no one was hurt.

#29My sincere thanks to everyone for spreading the word and doing what they can for Bob. He has been working with cane for over 50 years - to be forced to stop is unimaginable.

#31I just thought I'd place a post to give this thread and perhaps the fund a bump.
