Condolences to the family, and the bamboo family. Jim was a great guy and fantastic builder. I'll miss him for sure.

#5This is more sad news for our community. My condolences to Jim's family and friends.

#6Another good guy down. I followed Jim's carrier for years, first rebuilds, and then complete rods. I've got a couple that I really enjoy... time to get them out as soon as the water goes down.

Re: Jim Beasley has passed
#8Hello:
I am Jim Beasley's only daughter and avid angler.
Dad taught me how to fish at a very young age.
As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult year for my family.
Believe it or not I only have one of dads fly rods.
I would love to buy a James Beasley fly rod from anyone no longer using one.
I am not seeking charity and am happy to pay a fair price.

Thank you!
PS: My husband and I are fly fishing a fantastic river in Bryson City, NC today.
