What a THANKLESS job (literally) you have, Mark. I'm sure you have a hundred things you'd rather be doing besides upgrading a flyfishing forum for no pay. Thank you for being willing to spend your time on this.

Thank you for the effort to upgrade the forum. I don't post much because my experience level is such that I simply dont have much to add-except for cooking!-to the considerable body of knowledge that regularly appears on these pages. Nonetheless, browsing through the forums is one of the highlights of my day. I have to say I did worry when I didn't see the familiar format and color scheme, thinking that it had been taken over by someone else.

If I go to a specific PM and then click the [X] button the PM is deleted, but selecting PMs from the PM list and then trying to delete does not work.

Thanks, please revert soon, I cannot sleep nor eat.
Guess you'll have to die of sleep deprivation and starvation.

The only issue for me is that I don’t seem to receive email notifications for received private messages anymore.

Everything else looks good ;)

Two suggestions for future upgrades:
- the ability to ‘like’ posts has been an unexpectedly popular addition on another forum that I use
- a ‘thumbs up’ emoji would be useful

I and others are still having a problem deleting PMs. As mentioned above, all of us seem to get the same reply when trying. Hopefully it will be an easy fix, I imagine your patience is wearing thin. I owe you the first beer!!

Ralph,

For the time being you have to open the individual PM and delete it by clicking on the "X" button. Not sure why the process is breaking down when you try to delete from the inbox. That might get fixed when they update the OS and the new PHP software.

I don't see links to the databases, such as Greg's Orvis one either. Am I simply missing something?
Hopefully we'll be getting the database links fixed this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.

LOL! His nom de plume is Marc Hanger. He's an honorary member of the board now.
