This is sad news. I purchased a few items from Len many years ago now. I still have some of the old catalogs I look through for the memories of times that have now passed. Condolences to the family.

Oh, my! I have been a customer of Len's for over 40 years. I always enjoyed our interactions and discussions about tackle and fly fishing. My sincere condolences to Carol and Len's many, many friends. May he rest in peace...

My condolences to his family and friends.

I envision Len, Marty and Joe enjoying each other's company in an idyllic riparian setting.

Peace, it bounds like the river, they say
But what are they doing there now?

I just saw this. I am so sorry. I had many dealings with Len over the years, and a sizable chunk of my rod and reel collection was acquired from him. He was always pleasant to deal with, and I trusted him. R.I.P. and condolences to Carol.

Incredibly sad that at Thomas & Thomas nothing of this has been mentioned (website or Facebook)...

This company, that flaunts about their long history, has gone way down on respect

Very sad news! Condolences to his family.
I bought my first bamboo rod from Mr. Codella. He gave me sage advice on which rod to buy; which I still own and fish.
