Merry CHRISTmas to all who visit here. I pray the circumstances of 2020 and the uncertainty of what is ahead in 2021 doesn't cause us to lose focus on the world-changing nature of what this season signifies!

Thanks- Ken

Merry Christmas, happy holidays to all. I try to catch a Christmas Trout every year from the stream that flows thru our backyard Caledonia NY's spring Brook and had to work hard for this minnow. The rod is San Fran built Winston stalker 7'6" in four weight. The fly is an old style scud pattern originated by a local tier named Jim Cronin in the 70's. Love that dead drift Frank Sawyer style of nymphing. The fish remain wild on Spring Brook and some sections are recovering well. Hope it continues.
