Dont really know what forum to put this in, but it is a serious posting. Help Wanted: we offer a totally unique opportunity to the right fly fisherman who is also an experienced machinist.
Work requires initially about 20 hours per week machining and bench-assembling extreme high end reels. Some field testing as necessary. Future projects possibly requires work on precision rifle actions.
This position is ideal for an "early retiree" from Kaman, Pratt & Whitney, General Dynamics or Winchester seeking satisfying work in a top quality shop. The position requires knowledge of fly line weights, machining nickle and stainless alloys, programming CNC mills and lathes, using micrometers and maintaining close tolerances.
