what indicators provide information to date when a Payne rod was made?

Model #s, some rods showed up post WWII.

The hardware and ferrules, the Halstead hardware and ferrules appeared in the early 30s.

The die stamp, especially if it's from A&F.

The stripping guide, supposedly agate was not used after WWII, though I don't think this is 100% reliable.

The taper, some rods got a bit "quicker" in later eras.

If you have some pics, esp. of these features, that would help.
