Horrocks & Ibbotson Black River

Good morning. First time on forum, as I inherited a few bamboo rods and have started some research. Been flyfishing since the 80s but never held or fished a bamboo rod. I'm going to post these on here because they seem to have history and this seems like a group that would be interested. All are for sale, I should note. I'd rather them in hands of someone that enjoys these.

This is an H&I Black River, 9ft four-piece rod, has two different top pieces. Ah, back when folks like me didn't buy a 2/3/4/5/6/7 wt rod each haha.
Curious if anyone has any experience with these. Rod is in great shape, just missing an eyelet, really like the quality feel of this. From the 1940s? Not sure.
