Godwin Granger Granger Special

Good morning. First time on forum, as I inherited a few bamboo rods and have started some research. Been flyfishing since the 80s but never held or fished a bamboo rod. I'm going to post these on here because they seem to have history and this seems like a group that would be interested. All are for sale, I should note. I'd rather them in hands of someone that enjoys these.

This is a Godwin Granger...Granger Special. 9' three-piece rod with a spare top piece. Probably my favorite of the inherited lot. Again, I love the metal reel seat.
If anyone knows much about it, I'd love to hear. Thanks!

Nice rods. There is much to be found on here about the tapes. Use search on granger 9050 or 9043 or 9053 to learn more. If you are looking for an appraisal, there is a subforum for those and if you are looking to sell, there is also a subforum for that as well. Please read the rules under each subforum.

Cheers,
Joe
