Curt Elder?

Post by greyreefer5 »

Looking for info on Curt Elder. Met him ( and ordered a rod) the first time he showed his rods at the Denver Fly Expo several years ago. Really liked his rods that seemed to evolve, particularly cosmetics, over the next few years. Have picked up a few of them , but they don't seem to show up often on the secondary market. Is he still building? Alive?---- If you have one you would part with: PM here or SKITEES@MSN.COM Many Thanks

Try contacting Wayne Grauer, he has an 8 foot 3 inch 5 wt 2 pc hollow built on offer at 3.6 oz. Price on request he says, which is odd, as he does list prices for all other rods on his site.

Good luck!!

As far as I know, Curt is no longer making rods. You might try contacting Cris Carpenter (https://www.carpenterflyrods.com/). I think he has taper information from Curt and also makes a very nice rod.
