Three of a kind.....show yours

#1

Post by nativetrout »

Someone on the glass rod forum started this topic a while ago and I enjoyed it. Wanted to see how it goes in the bamboo world. Lets see your favorite trios, rods, reels, anything fishing related or other....

Heres mine...
2 trios
Orvis canes that could carry me through a whole season and the reels to match

I don't have photos but I do have 3 Wright & McGill Stream & Lake rods, an 8642, a 9050, and a 9660. I believe that the Stream & Lakes were only made in 1947 and 1948 and only in those tapers.

Some very nice rods. And I love the flies. But, Quash, would you dare fish one of those flies? Ric

Geepers Alex, you have enough long, light-lines of your own design. I really think you should leaven yourself a bit and be rid of that Fairy 2/3wt.

I mean really.....*VBG*

Jeremy. - nice trio you have there!
