Here are three Hardy 1930 era “in the white” Salmon Perfects by Jimmy Smith. The 3 1/2 inch reel is on a Hardy 11 foot #7 Palakona Wye rod, the 4 inch reel is on a 12 1/2 foot #9 Palakona Wye, and the 4 1/4 inch reel is matched with a Hardy 12 1/2 foot #9 Hollakona Hololite rod.

Here is another three some from the Restigouche River. A 2/0 Zwarg Laurentian multiplier LHW, a 3/0 Laurentian RHW mounted on a Payne 12 foot Canadian Canoe rod, 3 piece with 3 tips (dry fly, medium wet, and heavy double salmon hook) and a 4/0 Laurentian RHW. Also pictured is a N/Silver 50 lb. Slater scale which I always carry when I fish the Restigouche with these reels.

Really nice. I enjoy fishing these classic salmon rods and reels on the great Canadian rivers.

I haven't made one of these in a long while, so I made three.

Very nice sets, Ric & Mark,

This is a mahjong set of differently flamed triplets! Did this lineup for a buddy who loves flaming his cane and thought I’d share ;-)

Here are 3 Specials. A GS8040, a W&M GS8642, and a '42 GS9050. Interestingly, they all have 9 guides, which I had not noticed until I had them all together. I guess that makes my 8040 a very special Special! I always thought that the 8040 and 9050 had gold windings vs. the "snappy green", which seems to be more common, but, now I'm not sure about the 8040.

2) Winston Stalker 7.5ft #4
3) Tom Morgan Rodsmiths ‘Mini Stalker’ 6.9ft #3 (the blank is the Japanese 'L' version). Rod built by my friend Nico of Yamame rods.
