#885Hello from down south of you in Cheyenne! Beautiful rod. Cheers, Chris

#887Teter, that is a nice rainbow. And a nice rod/reel combination. It looks quite heave. Does it lighten up when you fish it?
Re: What are you fishing this week?
#888Thanks. The 5 5/8 oz. is the lighter of the two 9' Phillipson models that were offered. The steelhead in the picture put quite a bend in the rod, compared with what I get with the 6 oz. Phillipson that I typically use for steelhead. A Medalist is fairly light and doesn't balance the rod that well, but I needed the Medalist's strong drag.

#890Teter, looking out the window at the snow on the ground, I am very, very jealous! What part of the country is this? I need to move!

#895Jennings 6’3” 2/2 3/4 wt with a Peerless 77 and 4 wt line. A few small fish on elk/cdc, though the biggest brown came on a pheasant tail.
FWIW, I have fished this small creek, and a handful of it s clones nearby, every year with this Jennings—— since Homer completed it in 96.
