Can anyone give any information on using a WF running line as a 2wt for ultra light fishing.
I realize it will be level, but am wondering if all running lines are approx. the same Dia. Or if it varies by line weight. If so, what line weight will yield a 2wt
In the running line portion.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance

#2I don't know the exact answer to your question, but running lines of around .032" will load a 2 wt. rod. Now you just need to mike some WF lines or buy floating level shooting lines of that diameter that are used by speycasters.

#3It's a lot easier to buy an inexpensive WF2F - there are a lot of them out there (Maxcatch, Cabelas to name just a couple), and the cores will be considerably limper and thinner as well.
