Gale Creek 2 piece
#1Has anyone here cast or fished the two piece version of this rod? I would like to know how it compares to the three piece version for casting and fishing.

#2i have found little to no difference between the two. i have made 3 rods in the past that i added a swell to the rod above the grip. one on a 2 pc. rod and two on 3/2 .this did make the rod more of a med or lower end of med fast .vs the others which are more a straight med to med slow. if you tell me what you are hoping to achieve , i might be able to make a modified taper to your liking , while retaining what you like in the rod you cast. pm or email me if you want to discuss again.flycaster11 wrote:Has anyone here cast or fished the two piece version of this rod?
