All nice streams, however, none of the above.

Close, but no cigar.

Another hint. There are two streams of the same name. One is a creek, the other a river.

Bingo give that man a cigar.

Pic was taken about 100 yards below the Longwood Lake dam. The upper stretch from the dam down to the Berkshire Valley Rd. bridge screams trout. Shame the water from the dam is all over the top, so it suffers thermally once Late May roles around. I was there fishing the lake from the top of the dam for Smallies, caught four and a large mouth. Lots of fun with a fly rod. Walked down stream to check a deep pool and snapped the pic. Thought it would be fun, hope it was.

It was awesome seeing something local, though I dont fish it. Theres something to be said about a river thats so fun/pretty that you fish it regardless of what it holds.

West Branch of the Octararo creek in PA is like that for me. The meadow stretch is beautiful. Horses and cows on either side, amazing geology, interesting runs. If I'm ever in Lancaster I'll fish it despite it not holding any wild trout.
