Last time I went fishing with Val I tried all morning to get a shot of her with the rod tip forward and the line in the air and just starting to roll out on the forward cast. She nailed it on one shot.
Val nailed it

#3Close Creakycane, it is the water below Ovation.
I want to be buried with my favorite rod.

#6Creakycane mentioned church, are you fishing church pool on the Farmington? Man do I miss the Farmington! I haven’t had the pleasure for I hate to say almost 40 yrs.

#7I fished the Farmington this past June, brought back some nice memories. Little bastards were still picky as heck though! I was rewarded with a nice one on a "Usual" though! Some things dont change. That river gets a lot of pressure but it sure is nice the way the state has kept it preserved and in better condition.

#8Never have I seen so much pressure on the Farmington fish as this year. It still fished well too. Says a lot about what Niel Hagstrom at the CT DEEP established. He and his cohorts deserve our everlasting thanks.Loogie wrote: ↑11/23/20 09:20I fished the Farmington this past June, brought back some nice memories.
