Divine rod questions

#1

Post by Bamboo revival »

I just purchased a 8’6” divine on eBay can’t wait to get it! I have a feeling it’s a 5wt from my research I have attached the photos from eBay with the serial number it looks to be in great condition regardless of one tip being short.

Any info would be much appreciated!

What you have is a Divine Standard Trout in good apparent condition. It has been refinished/restored nicely. You might try a 5 or 6 DT or WF on it, personal preferences apply. Anyway a nice score and have fun fishing it. Did it have the form or bag with it?

Thanks!! I’ll find out as the guy I purchased the rod from said he found the original tube that he’ll be sending the rod in ... I’ll post pics when the rod shows up.

Would have been put-up in a form case like this...with a canvas bag.

Just finished restoring my Abercrombie and Fitch bic rod by Divine. Used it about 15 times this year and loved every trip! Mine suits a 3wt and is perfect for my local river catching Grayling and small Brownies.
Your new purchase look in stunning condition. I hope you have some divine fishing adventures with it.
