Great days fishing

Been waiting for the right day and right conditions and it came together the other day. Got to fish my 8013 Dickerson that I made back in November. Its a nymphing game in Central Washington right now and this taper fished tandem nymphs and indicator perfectly. Very nice to stack mend and was super fun to fish. First fish of the day was a glorious sucker fish that was 28". Ended with some really nice trout and whitefish.

Nice. Sucker must have made you think you'd hooked a record brown at first. Sure some nice trout to follow that though. Good you got out when conditions worked for you.

Any time you can get out this time of year is the right time. Glad you got out.

I spent a summer in Moses Lake. I did a bunch of fishing in an old abandoned hatchery somewhere near there

My guess Rocky Ford Creek but the hatchery is not abandoned

My guess was Ringold on the Columbia. I used to swing flies there for steelhead.
