Silk Flyline Question

Does this look like silk flyline? I've never seen or used it. Bought the reel with this loaded.

If silk, what do you treat it with? Thanks

maybe, but could be braided synthetic - touch the end to a fame - synthetic melts, silk doesn't

From the photo it looks like a braided nylon line... a level line by the looks of it. I think you will enjoy how it casts on the right rod. Nice score!
