Wanted - South Bend 346-8.5 Ferrule

#1

Post by dleemaxwell »

I have a South Bend 346-8.5 three piece rod in excellent condition from my father, except that it is missing the first (largest) female ferrule.

Realizing that I could probably get a replacement set of modern ferrules, I'm looking to see if anyone has this section for sale.

I can send specific dimensions if needed.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi dleemaxwell,
I have a couple of damaged butt sections from postwar 8.5 ft 346s , one snapped by UPS in transit, and one partially delaminated. Both have perfectly good female 17/64 ferrules. You're welcome to either if you are comfortable pulling and remounting the ferrule.
Let me know
Mike
