Am looking for a way to contact Lew Parks....got my first cane rod from him back in 2007, and I know he retired from building, just wondering if he is still with us? He sent me a Dickerson 6611, promised me I would just love it and he was right....still like it better than any rod I have in the inventory. Hoping to get the taper numbers Mr. Parks used in planing the blank. Would like to make another one or two...any info would be appreciated.

#3ablecane, thank you for that information. I sent Mick an email asking if he might be able to find his dad's taper numbers for the 6611. Lew was a very enjoyable guy to visit with about bamboo rods, I liked him a lot.
