Am looking for a way to contact Lew Parks....got my first cane rod from him back in 2007, and I know he retired from building, just wondering if he is still with us? He sent me a Dickerson 6611, promised me I would just love it and he was right....still like it better than any rod I have in the inventory. Hoping to get the taper numbers Mr. Parks used in planing the blank. Would like to make another one or two...any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

ablecane, thank you for that information. I sent Mick an email asking if he might be able to find his dad's taper numbers for the 6611. Lew was a very enjoyable guy to visit with about bamboo rods, I liked him a lot.
Thanks,
Steve
