Heddon 14 1927 rod

I am restoring a 1927 Heddon #14 and can anyone tell me if the number 14 was inked on the rod above the winding check? Thank you very much. Tommy Thomas

I answered my own question. Yes the number 14 was inked on the rod. Someone added a hook keeper to the rod over time and I bet it is inked under the silks. I have not
pulled it off yet. Thank you. Tommy Thomas
I also think the Red # 10 silks still applies?
