Thank you for this post, it was a great way to start a very cold day, 11deg. Although I fish cane and have a few rods I still like graphite once i get up to 8 and 9 wt. rods. As a salmon fisherman, at age 87 I find a cane rod a handful when casting all day, for weeks at a time.

Thanks for posting the video. I’ve been reading those guy’s books off and on for over 30 years, and always wondered what they looked and sounded like. Fun to watch.
