Uslan question

I have an unmarked 5-strip Uslan, 3/2, with labeled Super Z ferrules. Three sections are 34 inches and one tip is 33 7/8 in. I can't tell if its been redone; it does not appear to be though. This would make it an 8 ft. 4 and 1/2 inch rod Could this have been cut down or was it made this way?

Hard to say without seeing it but it sounds like you have one of his kit rods that was likely made that way.
