W&M Aristocrat 8642 extra tip?
#1Does anybody know if there are builders out there (on here?) who would build a second tip for a W&M Aristocrat 8642? I picked one up with a single tip on a really good deal and plan to fish the heck out of it, but I wouldn't mind having a second tip built if possible.
I know these aren't the most expensive rods, so if the answer is "it's not worth the cost, just fish it hard with the single tip" that totally fine too. Thanks!

#5Scott Whitman would be another alternative, depending on his work load.

#7Thanks for bringing this up- I also have an 8642 Aristocrat with one tip down a couple of inches that I got for cheap and wouldn't mind having it complete.
I would have had it scarfed already, but shipping it south of the 49th and back doesn't make economic sense. If anybody knows of a Canadian who does scarfing and ammoniating, I'm all ears!

#8Scott Whitman does great work, he made tip for my 7633 that is a great match for the original. Fair price and timely.

#9The difficult part I believe is finding an original ferrule when you don't have one. Michael Sinclair told me several years ago how scarce they were.

#10I won't advertise his name, but if you put a WTB in the classifieds section, there is a certain member that seems to have an abundance of Granger ferrules.
