#8I have no doubt at all that others will be helpful here but thanking you for your comments. Made me feel like a 10yo again!
I'm thinking Chubb as well.

Re: Ferrule ID
#9And yet, you had to reply to the post and offer up your own snide comment. I don't see anywhere the OP requested your specific reply.

Re: Ferrule ID
#12You mean, kinda like, dare I say it, the "disruption" you are causing on this topic? And it's persona non grata. Which doesn't apply to people who are kindly offering information back to the original question, which you didn't.

Re: Ferrule ID
#13Hmm, so nobody other than our own Persona non Grata knows, supposedly, the maker here?
I'm surprised, although not so should some choose not to participate in what's become a mess.
Thanks anyway.

However, I'd rather have a confirmed maker ID assuming I have a choice

#16Hah!
The current "Leonards -- the first 60 years" thread in Collecting shows a Leonard with the same two ring standup guides as my rod here! Guess I got a Leonard "trolling" rod
Fitting some would think.

#18JK boys!! I don't really think Leonard made unmarked rods!
Actually, Michael Sinclair's resto book shows them among the hardware pages but doesn't id maker. Also, I believe that the PNG's book shows a Chubb with same.
So used by multiple makers.
