Hi All
Any chance someone would have the taper for the Pezon et Michel St Louis Type Dubos? I've done a search and haven't turned up anything yet.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks
Just

#2Don't have the taper but really liked that rod when I owned it. Nice smooth medium flex parabolic.

#3Hello Just,
I don't know if this will help you, here are some measures taken on the PPP St Louis rod.
First of all the profile:
Then the position of the rings:
Important information!
concerning the profile, the measurements were made on a completed rod, ie on a varnished rod.

#5legaulois81,
thank you very much for posting that. i have measured all my pezons, plotting the tapers and deriving the stress curves to study. i have not had the opportunity to cast or measure this rod. i am happy to add it to my collection.

#6just,
it is my observation in handling many pezons that the shellac used as a finish coat is thinner that the varnish coat that is typically applied to a bamboo fly rod. i usually deduct only 0.004 in. from the flat to flat dimension when i correct the measurements of a finished rod.
