8’ Divine Rod Taper

The exchange of tapers forum is for classic and personally developed tapers. The definition of classic tapers are those tapers that were developed by rodmakers that are no longer alive. Please understand that rod makers who have developed their tapers, and are active in the community, should not have their tapers cloned, or shared, without their permission, please refrain for asking for those tapers as it infringes on the maker.

I’ve requested Steve to confirm the ferrule size. Will report back.

Hey BD,
Did you get a chance to cast the rod before you sent it out? Really curious about that one.
Did Steve give you an eta?

Hi Jan, I did not cast the rod, as one of the ferrules was loose. I took it to Steve mid-February, and he thought it would be 4-5 months. I also took an 8’ 1 1/2 ferrule Heddon for him to scarf a tip. I know he had other projects in line before mine. I’ll let you know when I get the Divine back.

I also have an 8' Divine 3/2. It casts a #4, and is a favorite rod for me.
