In case anyone would be interested, I asked Steve Sobieniak from Root River Rods to take the taper off of the 8’ Divine rod he is restoring for me. Steve is a great guy and I recommend him if you need work done on a rod. Here is the taper.

#5Hey BD,
Did you get a chance to cast the rod before you sent it out? Really curious about that one.
Did Steve give you an eta?

#6Hi Jan, I did not cast the rod, as one of the ferrules was loose. I took it to Steve mid-February, and he thought it would be 4-5 months. I also took an 8’ 1 1/2 ferrule Heddon for him to scarf a tip. I know he had other projects in line before mine. I’ll let you know when I get the Divine back.

#7I also have an 8' Divine 3/2. It casts a #4, and is a favorite rod for me.
