help with valuation old Bamboo rod

Something that I noticed is that the grip appears to be detachable and so might be a Montague combo rod missing the casting section. From the photo's its hard to tell if the grip is reversible which would confirm my guess. One thing that many of these combo rods allowed was removing the butt and putting the mid section's male deep into the grip and thus creating a two section shorter rod. I've learned that fish don't know that they were fooled by a fisher using an old less than valuable collector rod, so while the tip and mid are short it should fish okay and can be a very good rod to learn how to strip and refinish.
