So I located this rod on the internet. The photos show maker info on the blank, but cannot be read from the photo. I asked the owner what is written and he replied as follows: “Eolpon Suocp 200”
The 200 surely refers to rod length in centimeters. However the name, he clearly misread some or all ofthe letters. For example, maybe the E is really a G...or not. I know from experience that the old script ishard to read.
Anyone want to venture a guess?

This is the board to ask about the identity, or for an appraisal, of a rod. Please use the outline as explained on the board. If there is a makers name, list that in the subject line. Make sure you include the length, number of sections, any identifying markings and the general condition. Adding photographs is always helpful!
