Thought you guys might enjoy looking at the snook that took me for a ride in my kayak! He dragged me right into a mangrove, no way to stop him. Hooked him on a Sage Maverick 7wt, and the famous Schminnow fly. The cast was into a corner mangrove with a drop off, into some current, the hit has impressive and violent, old linesider sure has some shoulders!

#2Fantastic looking fish Loogie, well done. I have never been in snook waters, but similarly enjoy the ferocity of predator species strikes and the techniques to fish for them. An extra reward to have taken this one out of your kayak. Lots more ahead to you!

#4Very good job and pics. If I ever got to fish the salt the three fish I'd most like fish for are redfish, snook, and baby (<20) tarpon.
