No legal mumbo jumbo

or however that dang word is written! : ) Use this forum to discuss those things that are related to, directly, or indirectly, fly fishing, i.e., tackle, catalogs, single malt scotch, cigar preferences, pipes, camera gear, etc. This is sort of an off topic area but one related to bamboo and fly fishing.

I would just call the local chapter of the boy scouts you want to give to, and ask them to tell you how they prefer you to write the bequest. (They may even offer a volunteer attorney to help you prepare it.) I suggest contacting the local because naming the beneficiary can be tricky between the national & local, and conditioning the gift on the local maintaining a fly tying badge can also be tricky. If you do get a lawyer for estate planning, they will probably end up contacting the local for the same reasons. My guess is the Boy Scouts has addressed the basic issue you raise many, many times before.
