#21I spent most of my money on shotguns, fly rods, guitars and banjos. The rest I just wasted. (Apologies to W.C. Fields)

You either like cane fly rods - or you don't.

#26Here's an idea. With all of these beautiful pictures, we could have a contest. The 12 best could be made into a classic fly tackle calendar. I'd sure buy one.

#32Seriously, we should do this. It’s definitely worth trying.kevinhaney1 wrote: ↑05/02/21 09:03Here's an idea. With all of these beautiful pictures, we could have a contest. The 12 best could be made into a classic fly tackle calendar. I'd sure buy one.

#33An old shot but am going to fish my ol' 7' DT2 T&T TTT soon, so resurrected here. The CFO lll is large, but it perfectly balances the 2.8 oz rod. This was a few years back on a favorite Sierra stream, and I caught a lot of feisty rainbows and browns. In a real tight spot I took a break and set the rod here. Wish I could have added the sounds of the rushing stream, that great sound we all love.

#36Although some of these items were built nearly a century apart, I think they look good together
and these from the late 60's

#40Your photos are always so well composed and close to the angler's soul that in their viewing I hear the music of the waters you fish. You needn't wish for more. It is already there.Flykuni3 wrote: ↑05/10/21 00:22An old shot but am going to fish my ol' 7' DT2 T&T TTT soon, so resurrected here. The CFO lll is large, but it perfectly balances the 2.8 oz rod.
