No worries Magpie.. but do not lose that train of thought... just not here.

Not eerie or creepy to me - anytime is perfect fishing weather.
And we can fish 24-7.. which makes this night thing easier for me.

Holy bananas... the water went off yesterday ~

The low water stranded a number of scuds...

And today they had 1 unit on for a little bit...

Nice photos Brian. Is that the predominant color of the scuds in Taney? They almost look black.

Hey Dave - they are primarily gray - or shades of it.

But I am color blind... so maybe they are gray with shades of other grays in it. :)

Grays like green and brown and even yellow are often added.. but gray is it here.
This same gray and other shades of gray like it also work in the White River chain of lakes in Arkansas too!

That is one impressive pile of scuds. Good pics.

All the good to great fishing below dams is in Arkansas. Everyone should just go there. ;>)

Brian, where's that last photo taken? Is that in the park down by the Landing? Looks familiar.

Trophy Run .. that most beautiful of places is directly across from the Table Rock State Park...
It is right below the dam on the other side and down from the Taneycomo boat ramp.

Thanks Brian. I've been down the other side but never realized there was a sidewalk over there. I'll have to check it out the next time I'm there.

Hard to tell - but that is our Auxiliary Spillway protection system ... so we don't lose the whole town someday...
It cost a whole lot of money.

We push thru so much water here... seriously... it shuts off more at night -
This photo below is the point below the pavilion. The fish ladder is near here.

There are some very quiet places along the river...
