Good morning from my bench.

#1

Post by PlaneOldMike »

Just thought I’d share the view. The birds are chirping, the sun warms my face as I walk out to my shop with fresh a brewed coffee in my hand. The steam rises from the cup as it is still a bit chilly. I crack open my shop door and am greeted by what is now becoming the familiar smell of cane. The morning sun is bathing my bench and all that is remaining on it from the previous nights efforts.

What a beautiful morning to be alive.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Mike.

There's nothing like the smell of cane shavings in the morning. It smells like fishing . . . some day soon!

I hope you have a wonderful day as well, Mike!

Nice tidy man-cave/Rod-shop.
Mine smelled of cane thru the winter, now it smells of Cedar.
Bluebirds are busy building nests in the nesting boxes near the garden.

Your cave is a bit larger than mine! Cedar does smell great. Living where I do, I’m surrounded by it. Literally. I have 9 cedar trees in my 3/4 acre yard . There is so much cedar here it’s not funny. I wish I could see some others that aren’t native. But the grass is always greener... right.

The project in your shop looks like a lot of fun! Keep up the good work!
