Family portrait

#1

Post by Pastor Ben »

hey there

Run off is in full swing here...so I went out to the local park in the hopes of getting a family Portrait or two...
As is typical in family portraits not everyone is looking at the camera...

this is the Matriarch Of GTNP, Grizzly 399, she is 25 years old and with 4 cubs of the year....she is getting more gray hairs by the hour....

Great Photo! As good as some of the Mangelsen photos of her. Would love to see more family images.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! I've only seen Yellowstone area bears at a distance - though according to tracks and snapping brush, I've seen evidence that they were much closer than I EVER want to see! Great picture. :)

Great shot! I've never witnessed 4 cubs in a litter. (Not that I know may Grizzlies but seems how cool to catch all four!)
