A few photos from the streams and rivers up in the high country of Victoria . Myself and a friend spent a few days last week exploring some new waters with plenty of hungry trout looking up to feed on the abundant hoppers . A few glasses of red to help wash down our dinner cooked on the campfire made sure the evenings were most enjoyable as well . It really is beautiful country with the only downside being there is a very healthy population of Eastern Brown and Tiger snakes .

#6Yes plenty of wineries in Victoria , the fishing is fantastic and much cheaper than New Zealand for the modest amount of $30 for your fishing license you can fish anywhere in Victoria .Hellmtflies wrote: ↑03/02/21 10:32Heck, That looks more inviting than NZ. #7Thanks for sharing. Looks very inviting. Do you have a preferred fly pattern for the snakes?
