Bear’s Ear National Monument

Last week I did a five day workshop in the Bear’s Ear region of southeast Utah. The workshop included side trips to the Navajo Reservation and various architectural ruins. I’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story.

Thanks for the comments. I had a ball. One of the things that amazed me is how far away everything was. I took an 18mm, 24-70mm and a 70-300 lens. The 18mm never left the case. The long lens received a workout.

Are these places open to the general public or is there restricted access? Due to vandalism and looting many reservations have shut off access to areas.

All of the places were open to the general public except the Navajo Reservation. We paid an admission fee and had a guide for the tour on the reservation. The $$$ was well spent as we received a very interesting history lesson.
