Cleaning older reels

I was pleased to see that the search function here still brings up very pertinent information from past posts (and even past-members). I might be fortunate enough(!) to have a use for Bulldog's wonderful discourse on cleaning older (and even very old) reels manufactured out of several different materials in the near-term here, so I queried the system and viola!....the link works perfectly. It even (still) connects me to the sister webpage to here, over on the Fiberglass flyrodders where, evidently, the original article still resides. Very comforting to know.
