REPAIR TO HARDY ZENITH FOOT

#1

Post by WYETHUNDER »

Gents,
I have a Hardy Zenith silent check with the tip broken off the cast aluminium foot.
I contacted Hardy’s customer service who say say they cannot help to replace.
Luckily I have a second option as I can get a doner foot from a battered up Zenith
Only thing is I will need to drill out the rivets and convert the fix to, two screws as I have no way to rivet back on the doner foot.
Can anyone tell me what size thread would be best or what hardy use on other screw fixed feet.
Any info would be appreciated.

I just recieved replacement feet ( gratis) from Hardy. Is Zenith foot interchangeable with Perfects etc? Try Pure customer service?

Thanks greyreefers5,
Ill try Pure Fishing
Not sure if they the same as perfects but do know its the same as the Husky and pos other lightweights. It has a kind of dovetail base.
