Ross Flycast 2

#1

Post by agate »

I am looking for more information on Ross Flycast 2 or Ross Flycast reels

* Are these made in USA?
* looks like they were made around 2009?
* It says hybrid, not sure what that means
Flycast 2 is 3.25 inches in diameter
weight 5.6 Oz

They were sold around $ 80.00

Thanks

They were cast and made in China.
I believe “hybrid” was used as term saying it is a mid-arbor, somewhere between a large and traditional arbor.
They were a good value as a pricepoint/starter reel.

A bit of a better class of Ross reel is the Colorado.

Though not made in great big sizes.. they fit nicely for budget trout reels.
